Juan Pablo Hourcade

Juan Pablo Hourcade is an Associate Professor at the University of Iowa's Department of Computer Science (USA). Part of his research involves the development of technologies to support communication, collaboration, and self-expression for children in the autism spectrum.

Franca Garzotto

Franca Garzotto is an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at the Department of Electronics and Information, Politecnico di Milano (Italy). She conducts research on technologies for children, including two current EC funded projects on touchless motion based games to help children with autism with their communication needs.

Agata Rozga

Agata Rozga is a Research Scientist at the School of Interactive Computing at Georgia Tech (USA). She is a developmental psychologist and an autism researcher, with a particular interest in early social-communicative development of children on the autism spectrum.

Monica Tentori

Monica Tentori is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at CICESE (Mexico). Her research intersecting human-computer interaction and ubiquitous computing is being applied to healthcare specially to support the needs of children with autism their caregivers.

Panos Markopoulos

Panos Markopoulos is a full professor at the department of Industrial Design of the Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands). His research concerns interaction design for children, ambient intelligence, end-user development, creative design methods, and rehabilitation technology.

Narc’s ParŽs

Narcís Parés is a Tenure Associate Professor in the ICT Department (DTIC) of Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain) where he is part of the Cognitive Media Technologies Group. He has an interest in Full-body or Embodied Interaction and Interactive Playgrounds. He explores the potential of full-body interaction specifically for children and teens in play, learning and special needs.

Judith Good

Judith Good is a Reader in Informatics at the University of Sussex (UK), and director of the Human Centred Technology Lab. Her research focuses on the design of technology enhanced learning environments. More specifically she is interested in the development of technology enhanced learning environments and tools to support emotion regulation in children with autism spectrum conditions (ASC).

Helen Pain

Helen Pain is a Reader in the University of Edinburgh's School of Informatics (UK). Her research focuses on supporting learning and communication in children with special needs, using technology to engage and support learners in play and exploration.

Meryl Alper

Meryl Alper is a Ph.D. Candidate in Communication at the Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism at the University of Southern California (USA). Her main areas of research are families' evolving relationships with old and new technologies, transmedia and children's learning, and the media practices of youth with disabilities.
