Exams

Final

As announced in class, the final will be a take home-exam. It is designed to takeabout 2 hours. The exam will be available in ICON's Dropbox on December 17. For your convenience, you'll have 12 hours to turn it in through ICON.

Out: 8:00am on Tuesday, Dec 17, 2013
Due: 8:00pm on Tuesday, Dec 17, 2013

Study Guide

The exam will be comprehensive, spanning all the material covered in class. The exam will assume knowledge of all the required readings listed in the Lecture section, as well as solutions to exercises and homework assignments and mini projects. It will include questions that asks you to write Alloy models, Lustre models and requirements, and Dafny code and specifications. Emphasis will be on modeling and specification.

Warning

It goes without saying that you are expected to do the exam entirely on your own. You cannot discuss the exam with classmates or anybody else before submitting your solution. If your solution presents any suspicious similarities with somebody else's solution, you will receive an incomplete grade for the course. If the suspicions are later proven to be founded, you will be reported to the college, get a 0 for the final, and receive a letter grade corresponding to your cumulative grade at that point.
