The Code

To use the compiler you need XLISP-STAT 3.52.8 or later. The code is available as a gzip'ed tar file. This distribution includes .fsl files. To use the compiler, load the file newcmp.lsp. You can recompile the compiler if you wish, but if you start from source files you will need to compile twice since the interpreted version overflows one of the stack at several places.

The documented code is also available as a gzip'ed dvi file. The code is presented as a literate program using the noweb system.
