This is just a note containing the problems that I suggested for review in preparing for the 2nd Midterm. As I mentioned in class, this does not mean the midterm will contain questions similar to these.

• Solved Exercise 1 of Chapter 5, Exercise 6 of Chapter 5, and from Jeff Erickson's lecture notes, Exercise 8 (a,b,c), and Exercise 17 at the end of Lecture 1.
• From the textbook, Solved Exercise 3 of Chapter 4, and Exercises 1, 2, 8, 9, and 10(a) from Chapter 4.

Besides these problems, reviewing the material we covered in the lectures and homeworks is highly recommended.
