The first table shows scores and course grades. Grades are based on "course points". The course points are determined by normalizing three scores (midterm, homework total, and final exam) to 100 points each, and then weighting them as previously indicated on the course syllabus. Specifically, the formula is

Pts = .30*midterm + .30*hwk + .40*final.

A second table appears below providing the grade distributions for the final exam and course points. Also, note that a link has been added on the course page to sample solutions to the final exam.
