Always, on every assignment, please write your name legibly as it appears on your University ID and on the class list! All assignments will be due at the start of class on the day indicated, and unless there is what insurance companies call "an act of God" - something outside your control; the only exceptions to this rule will be by advance arrangement.

Submitting your solution to MP1

To submit a solution to MP1, you must use a departmental linux machine and run the submit command. See

• Submit your SMAL source file (mp1.a) in response to the File/directory name: prompt.
• Type c060 in response to the course: prompt.
• Type mp1 in response to the choice: prompt.

We will assemble and test your code for grading. Half of the credit is for issues of style, while half of the credit is for correctly meeting the behavioral requirements of the executable code.
