Luke Franzen

Position:Undergraduate Research Assistant

Research Interests: I am currently working on my B.S. in psychology and will be graduating in May 2013. From there, I intend on studying psychology in graduate school to earn my PhD in order to pursue a research career in the world of academia. Being a member of the lab allows me to study the coupling of perception and action, and it also provides invaluable research experience that will help prepare me for my future.

Sarah Galvin

Position: Undergraduate Research Assistant

Research Interests: I am currently working on my B.S. in psychology with a minor in human relations, and I will be graduating in May 2013. As of now I am not sure what my post-graduation plan is, but I am interested in either clinical psychology or counseling, with a primary interest in children/adolescents. Working in a previous lab has allowed me to connect the internal structures of learning with the external structures tested here. Thus far I have really enjoyed the virtual environment studies of the lab, and I am very fortunate to have this research opportunity.

Calvin Bryant

Position: Undergraduate Research Assistant studying Biochemistry (Music and Psychology Minor)

Research Interests: My intention is to go into research in biochemistry and/or psychology after graduation, and to continue my education in graduate school. I am particularly interested in memory and development, as well as trends in how health status affects cognitive abilities and disposition. In this lab I get much-needed experience in an interesting research setting and involved insight into the construction of experiments, qualities that will be extremely useful for my future career.
